Bienvenidos a Punta Lara: where the sun rises from the sea as a huge ball bathing this very popular village with a warm golden
glow.Just a mile west of Nerja the village, built in typical Spanish style, nestles on a hillside with spectacular sea &
mountain views.Punta Lara 2's large communal pool and pretty gardens are a focus for our visitors, where the 3 small convivial
bar/restaurants are friendly meeting places.Punta Lara 1's detached villas mostly have their own pools.Sandie and Kathy frequently
sing in Pedro&'s bar, recently renamed after Yorkshire TV filmed Emmerdale in Punta Lara, and is the singing and dancing
venue for many of Punta Lara's residents & visitors.Take a stroll along Playazo Beach, about 100 meters from Punta Lara's
entrance, into Nerja - takes about 20 mins - but you may be tempted to pop into the several chiringuitoes for a beer or wine
& tapas, perhaps lunchtime paella - or take the local bus from Hotel Marinas into town, just a euro for the 3 minute
ride.
